Wow...I've been gone for a while. I decided not to do the lemon because I didn't have anything to stuff it with. I have started making Barbie clothes because they work up quickly and kill my yarn stash which is, admittedly, rather small, but I feel guilty because I bought both a set of needles and another skein of yarn when there was plenty in the house. I know, I'm very pathetic.

Well, today was good. I finished the second of a set of Fingerless Gloves. I wrote the pattern myself, but it was inspired by looking at several other Fingerless Glove patterns and not really liking them. I will post the pattern seperately. I will start knitting a lemon from a pattern I found now.

Today I started an afghan on the circular needles, but I got bored of having to keep shoving the stitches back up the needle, so I abandoned it and decided to get a jumpstart on Christmas presents for my friends. We had a food fight today during lunch and ending up throwing a nasty mixture of bits of all of our lunches onto the table of guys next to us. We did this once to another table, but it looked grosser then, and we weren't on speaking terms with the people whose table we threw it on before. Anybody have suggestions for sock patterns? I don't have double-pointed needles, so if it needs double-pointed needles, don't mention it. Thanks.

As long as I'm here and this is my first post, I may as well introduce myself. I'm not telling you my real name, but I go by Clarissa. I love to read and knit, and my posts will primarily be about one of those two things. I have not actually donated anything to charity like you might think, but that's because I'm still in the keeping stage. I finally got circular needles yesterday. Now I can make hats and socks and all sorts of interesting things. Mostly socks though. I miss you Dobby! I have made a comfy but thick fingerless glove, and plan to make the other one soon. I knit at school, and by the end of the day can typically finish a small project such as an afghan square.
